We’ll start by walking thru your home and getting an idea of what is and isn’t working for you and how you would like the space to function. Then we’ll begin to work side by side with you to process the things in the space and help you decide what to keep and what to let go of. Finally we’ll help you designate a place for everything!
How do I prepare for a session?
You may be tempted to “clean up” before a session or consultation, please DON’T. The best way for us to help is to see where things collect for you naturally. A good way to prepare is to picture how you would like the space to function, get plenty of rest, and have your favorite drink & snack available for yourself. Don’t forget to have a notebook available for tips you want to remember. Leave the rest to us!
Is my house the worst you've ever seen?
One of the most common questions we are asked and the answer is: We don’t look at your space like that, every individual we work with is unique. We look at your things the same way you might look at puzzle pieces on a table. It’s just “pieces” that need to be sorted, separated, and put together.
How much does it cost? Is it worth the price?
We charge $55 per hour for one organizer. Check out our rates page for more details & specials we offer. Our goal is not only to “get” you organized, but also to teach you how you can stay organized. We’ll give you a good start in our first couple of sessions and leave you with tips and ideas to continue yourself or we can continue working together to set up systems throughout your home or office. Check out our comments page to see what others have thought of the investment they made.
Will I be pressured to throw things away?
Like our name says we will help you find a place for everything. We may ask you questions to help you determine whether you still love or use an item, but the decision is always up to you. Should you decide to let some items go, we can assist you in finding locations to sell, donate, or dispose of those items.
Will pictures of my house/office be featured on your website?
While we love to show examples of our work, our first concern is making you feel comfortable. We will not use pictures without your written permission.
